Engineer.
Leader.
Builder.
I started as an Interactive Developer writing HTML and JavaScript for banking products in Chennai. Twenty years later I lead multi-squad engineering organisations, define platform architecture for global brands, and run AI transformation programmes across distributed teams.
That arc — from individual contributor to engineering leader — was never accidental. It was a deliberate series of investments: in technical depth, in people skills (including a formal MBA in HR Management), and in understanding how technology creates business value, not just how it works.
I'm based in Malmö, Sweden. I'm a Swedish citizen. I build things that scale, teams that last, and engineering cultures that people want to be part of.

People are the architecture
The best technical decisions fall apart without the right people and culture to sustain them. I spend as much time on team design, career growth, and psychological safety as I do on system architecture — because one enables the other.
Outcomes over outputs
Lines of code, story points, and sprint velocity are proxies. What matters is whether the platform is faster, the team is healthier, and the business can move. I track DORA metrics not to rank teams but to have honest conversations about what's actually happening.
Boring infrastructure, exciting products
The most enabling thing an engineering leader can do is make the platform so reliable and the developer experience so smooth that teams can focus entirely on product problems. I invest heavily in CI/CD, observability, and shared tooling so squads don't have to.
AI as engineering standard, not experiment
I don't treat AI tooling as a side project. I've governed it, built it into onboarding, and measured its impact. The 40% productivity uplift didn't happen by accident — it happened because we treated AI adoption with the same rigour as any other engineering practice.
Write the decision down
ADRs and RFCs aren't bureaucracy — they're how distributed teams stay coherent over time. Every significant technical decision I make gets documented with context, options considered, and the reason for the choice. Future teams deserve that clarity.
Accessibility is non-negotiable
WCAG 2.1 AA isn't a checkbox — it's an engineering standard. I've held this line on every major project, from Polestar's vehicle configurator to Radisson's booking widget. Inclusive design makes products better for everyone, not just the users who need it most.
